The
Parsons Desk

This unique take on a traditional Parsons table is constructed in rich walnut with solid legs. No hardware or screws were employed, instead, the piece is secured with mortise and tenon joints and a bit of glue. Half-blind dovetail jointed drawers can be removed and used as task boxes (drawer slides are also solid walnut). Created for the 2014 Parsons The New School of Design senior thesis show.
